Banksy Makes Another Simpsons Cameo

In the latest episode of The Simpsons, street artist Banksy has made yet another cameo (well, not the elusive man himself, of course, but you know what we mean). The episode follows Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie as the family takes a trip out to Hollywood for the Oscars. This plug couldn’t possibly be more fitting as Bansky himself has been nominated for an award in the “Best Documentary” category for his film Exit Through the Gift Shop. The 83rd Academy Awards ceremony will air live from Hollywood on Sunday, February 27th 8pm EST/5pm PST.

Phlegm Paints the Side Of a Sukhoi Jet

 Artist Phlegm did this piece in Wales on the side of a Sukhoi jet. At first glance, the piece actually looks like it was supposed to be painted on the side of the plane. Sukhoi is a Russian company founded in 1939 specializing in military aircraft, and the UK-based Phlegm adds a classic, mid-20th century looking piece to it.

Roa Hits Mexico

trip to Mexico where he took time to throw up a bunch of murals (you can see more on Unurth). Not only did he reprise his signature “stacked pile” of animals, but he also chose creatures we have never seen him use before.

Also, for those lucky enough to be in the UK, he has already gotten up in East London as well as created a monster installation at Black Rat Projects (covered). He’s not done though.  On February 24th, he’ll be collaborating with Robots and Phlegm on the BLACK/LIGT project
